Welcome to ASEAPS 2017

The 7th Association of South-East Asian Pain Societies Congress (ASEAPS 2017) was successfully held at the Sule Shangri-La in Yangon, Myanmar from 16-19 February 2017. The event attracted almost 500 participants from more than 30 countries.

ASEAPS 2017 provided the opportunity to share, discuss, debate and dissect all the significant developments and scientific advancements in the field of Pain Management in the past two years. Held in conjunction with MSSP 3rd National Seminar on Pain, the congress scientific program featured 11 plenary sessions, 3 panel discussions, 4 sponsored lunches and 11 concurrent sessions.

Themed “Professional Accountability with Interactive Networking”, the congress brought a stellar line-up of 41 speakers and 25 chairpersons. The exciting congress program included social events such as the Grand Gala Dinner and Welcome Reception where delegates got an opportunity to network with colleagues from around the world and to enjoy performances from local artists.
